Wolfram Spyra began his career in the early 1990s constructing ‘soundscapes’ and installations around Germany.
He has collaborated with a wide range of visual artists, musicians, producers and DJs, including Pete Namlook as the duo Virtual Vices, and with Robert Rutman as a member of the Steel Cello Ensemble.
Spyra has released several albums, starting in 1995 with Homelistening Is Killing Clubs.
Spyra’s focus is on instrumental electronic music, seamlessly blending interesting samples, synthesizers, percussion and other elements together in unique ways.
While sometimes experimental, most of his music has a certain accessibility in terms of the rhythmic and melodic components.
Though frequently associated with the retro or Berlin School sound pioneered by Klaus Schulze and others, he uses modern ambient electronica elements extensively, creating his own rich sound that defies easy categorization.

TaboTago was originally a tribute to the legendary Edgar Froese, who, with Tangerine Dream, shaped one of the most influential and pioneering branches of Krautrock: the “Berlin School” with its magical sequencer ostinatos, surreal atmospheres, and soundscapes that remain unmatched to this day.
In a basement on Kreuzberg’s Tabor Street – which would give the band its name – the first small jam sessions and private concerts took place.
The trio delved deeply into the Berlin tradition of experimental and informal music.
Despite their experimental approach, the music is always fascinating and captivating.
In their live performances, vast soundscapes are explored, ranging from dynamically excessive to deeply atmospheric.
TaboTago has found its own identity between tradition and modernity.
While the influences of Krautrock and the so-called Berlin School are still clearly audible, the band’s references also include Sigur Rós, M83, Leverage Models, and Four Tet.
Thus, TaboTago’s concerts are always daring balancing acts, where the prepared and the unforeseen merge into a magical trip.

𝗥𝗘𝗠𝗬 & 𝗗𝗮̈𝗰𝗸𝗲𝗿
Dutchmen Remy Stroomer and Peter Dekker made their first public appearance together in 2020 with a performance at the BYSS studio of Bas Broekhuis.

Remy studied sonology at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague (NL). He released 13 electronic music albums since 1999, did various collaborations and produced for international artists, and organized electronic music events in special locations including churches and ruins.
He is also owner of Deserted Island Music, a label on which he contracted international electronic bands and artists including Mäläska, Däcker, Space Art, Feralia Planitia, Basic Principles and Martijn Comes.

Peter owns more than 60 synthesizers (including a large number of rare vintage analog ones), with which he creates and records various music. Although he makes music for the largest part of his life (solo as well as together with others), he released two solo electronic music albums so far.
While improvisation has always been an important element in the music of both gentlemen, REMY & Däcker also let things happen as they happen when they make music together.
One moment the outcome contains Berlin School-like and sequencer-based stuff. The other moment it’s experimental, jazzy or fusion.

Remy and Peter both performed on stages in the Netherlands, Germany and the U.K.
